Question: in the R rated version Leatherface raped a labrador puppy before killing it with the chainsaw. Apparently they had to film that part of the film in Mexico because there are no animal cruelty laws there (at least none that are strictly enforced like in America), and the director wanted the scene to be real. The actor playing Leatherface suffered nightmares for weeks afterwards (or so it is claimed)
