Whats your favorite stephen king movie and why?.?!
Question: There are so many good movies based on his stories, plus there a bunch of really cheesy ones too, one of my favorites is "Silver Bullet", based on "The Cycle of the Werewolf", and of course there is always "The Shining" (the original with Jack Nicholson).

Misery Kathy Bates did the best job of portraying any Stephen King character ever! I even said she'd win an Oscar after seeing it in the theatre!
The Shining...because it's really well done and very scary.
Secret Window.I love thrillers.He did not direct it but it was based on his book.And I am a huge johnny depp fan
The Shawshank Redemption..... because it stands on its own merit (doesn't need special effects or "shock effect" scare tactics). It's just good.

- The Langoliers or Needful Things are probably my favorites. They are so unsual yet common at the same time.
ummm.... i guess i would say it! only because i saw it when i was rather young and the movie made me afriad of clowns.... sucked. but i also liked misery and tommyknockers :]

I really like about 85% of stephen king movies, there is no way i could just pick one or two.
1408 because it proved that it can be interesting without buckets of blood or with nudity.
I love Rose Red (fav movie, I watch it all the time), Misery (Kathy Bates is awesome in it), Riding the Bullet (I was a huge fan of Jonathan Jackson for years), Secret Window (I looooove Johnny Depp. He was so creepy in it), The Shawshank Redemption (amazing movie. I thought that it was cool), The Langoliers (I only saw it once, and for years, I couldnt fly because of it), and I loved the series for Kingdom Hospital (it's such a very different, interested series that creeped me out).
