only one film scared me the blair witch, and no1 else ive met has ever been scared of it lol, its all cos first time i saw it, i was only bout 10 and you never see whats after them....

Definately NOT the Exorcist... that has to have been the most over-hyped unscary film ever.. I pissed myself laughing through the whole thing.

The Exorcist

Gone with the Wind.

That scene on the hill! Gets me every time!

grudge 2

its not scary the face it just that it statels you.
really badly

"Alone in the Dark" with Audrey Hepburn. She plays a blind woman who is surrounded by intrigue. It makes you jump out of your skin every 5 minutes...and besides, you-the-viewer can see what's really going on, and she can't....which makes it even scarier!

Also, "Magic" with a young Anthony Hopkins. The story of how a young ventriloquist gets "possessed" by his puppet, which becomes his "alter ego" and makes him do all sorts of horrid things.

Hands down...THE SHINING!!! with Jack Nickleson and Shelly Duvall!! Amazing acting and I still get scared when I watch it.
I think it is because of the isolation and the man in the little boys mouth and when he says REDRUM..REDRUM i freak and the twin and the blood and " all work and no play make jack a dull boy!"

del torros new masterpiece 'the Orphanage'

the musical score the lighting the entire atmosphere of the entire movie just fills you with pure dread. watching it just made my skin tingle, i wish i could watch it again for the first time.

oh and for some reason 'The Dark Crystal' really freaks me out

There hasn't been a good horror movie in ages. They're not even scary anymore, horrible story lines, bad acting and everything is so predictable. All the good ones are the much, much, much older ones but nothing thats the "scariest". They're just movies.

That being said....The original Wizard of Oz creeps me out for some reason lol Doesn't scare me..just creeps me out lol

Exorcism of Emily Rose
Audition--more gore than scary could not watch it fully through the first time.

Candyman and the original Psycho.

babe

The 1st Blair Witch Project is good and so is House of 1000 Corpses.

The Exorcist--I heard it was true(I got to thinking, could that happen again)

Stir of Echos really creeped me out- still does when I think about it.

pet cemetery or nightmare on elm st i was like 4 and Freddy was scary back then

im a scary movie lover and hardly any ones have ever got to me.. but i think the grudge wins it, its weird aswell cus other people dnt find it scary at all, but i think its the image of the woman.. her dark her and eyes just get under my skin sooo much.. i had to get some decorations out of the loft at christmas and i had a heart attack when i put my head through the trap door, i was imagining her eyes right next to mine.. it makes me shiver just thinking about it!

the latest Steven King Movie. The Room 14 something i cant remember the numbers. but when he looks outside and the window in the other building has him standing in inthen the guy with the knive going to stab him. Holy Crap. I loved it

It has to be a film called Superstition from the seventies.(scary) also the Burning was a bit of a pant filler!!!!!

Open Water

You never see what's nibbling them!

Candyman (the original one) was VERY creepy and scary.

And when I was about five ... The Wizard of Oz! Oh those flying monkeys.

Pet Semetary........guaranteed to give you nightmares.

Treasure Island when I was about 6 years of age.

Jaws.
Because anytime I swim in a pool, lake, river, ocean, etc. I always imagine a shark fin breaking the water...
