He does mostly cameos and special appearances. (See "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" Absolutely Hilarious!) However he's mostly known for his voice work in multiple animated projects with the most well known being as the voice of the Joker in the various Batman animated series. He did have a couple movies right after the Star Wars series were over but they were very forgettable.

theres this horrible B-movie called the Watcher, i saw by accident when i wanted to rent the movie The Watcher with Keanu Reeves.
There are quite a few. Mainly cartoons. He did a couple episodes of MadTV, Family Guy, Scooby Doo, and currently he is working on a movie called Conan: Red Nails and Spawn: the Animation.
