Well it's made from a book, not just some random movie about superheroes like that person below me said. I saw it and I thought it was pretty cool, but there weren't really any surprises. The previews pretty much tell you exactly what the movie's about and what's going to happen. I also heard the book is a lot better than the movie. But I really liked the actors in it because they were good looking haha. It's not a total waste of money or anything, though... Definitely not movie of the year, but if you were interested in seeing it, go see it. Just keep in mind the storyline isn't amazing with no real twists, but it's pretty cool to watch.
Nah, its not that great at all. It's kind of long and boring. It's a cheap ripoff of xmen. Theyre coming up with all kinds of movies nowadays with people with super powers. Like the tv show Heroes, thats like x men too.
Its a huge letdown. The concept for the movie is great, but the way they put it together wasn't so great. So, some parts are funny and some actions scenes are alright. But, it didn't seem to go in depth with anything, like the girl he liked in school he just goes back 20 years after they last saw, then they randomly go to paris together. Just like that. They made it out that the Jumpers were bad people aswell and that there were "always consiciousnes" that's all Samuel L Jackson basically said.

i enjoyed it because i didn't have any previous thoughts about it. i enjoyed it for what it was but it could have been much better.

i was expecting something that was not going to be great whatsoever. I saw the reviews and i like Doug Liman's (the director's) work, so i went in with trepidation. i thought it was good, not as bad as people have said it to be. but it was a bit light. the running time is short, so it appears as something dispensible because there's not really much depth. Think of it as first X-men, its good not great but the concept and the possiblities of it is so interesting that if there was a sequel, then it could very good. The acting's okay but the characters suffer from not having much depth so expect more of thrill ride even thought it explores (again superficially) the morality of what the characters are doing. the "jumping" technique is impressive though and Jamie Bell is very good in it.
the storyline isn't that good. honestly, it didn't meet my expectations. but the jumping scenes were good. and it's really cool to have powers like theirs.
