Hands down favorite? "Ten From Your Show of Shows", a compilation of skits from a 1950's comedy/variety show starring Sid Caesar, with incredible co-stars Imogene Coco, Howie Morris and Carl Reiner. The writers of the show included Neil Simon and a young and crazed Mel Brooks.
Most of the skits had me laughing hysterically--one or two actually caused me to fall off my seat in the theater and writhe amongst the spilled popcorn and jujubes.
Do yourself a favor---look for DVDs of Sid Caesar's tv work---all good, many unforgettable.
"Tough Guys" with Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas. It's about 2 guys paroled after 30 yrs for being the last 'outlaws to try to rob a train. They go back to the ol' Hood ' and find it has changed as well as the element of criminal that has no class or rules. Turns ou they are in better shape than the guys they left behind. Oh yea, I almost forgot about a fella named Leon B, Little who, like a Canadian Mounty never fiorgets his man
