Looking for a old movie title?!
Question: Can't remember all of the details. I think it was later 1990's or early 2000. The plot as I remember: old times, this husband brought in a young girl to help take care of the house and his wife. Eventually, they fall in love. The part I remember most is during the end they go on a sled ride. The sled breaks and they crash into a tree. He ends up walking with a limp and she is injured. At the end of the movie it shows the young girl who is somewhat disfigured and being cared for by the wife. I want to say the move was a one word title. I may have started with an "E". I've been searching for this movie for about 6 years, but can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

The movie is "Ethan Frome" and they have been showing it on Fox movie channel for a bout a year now. Not a bad movie.
