Question: All the Die Hard fans I know, look to deep into things, spend all this money on books that take place after ROTJ, and are not only not written by George Lucas, but non canon. They misinterperate everything, they misquote everything, and are just flat out wrong about stuff in the movies.

No. Star Wars is actually very educational and is an excellent saga of movies. I bet YOU couldn't make a movie better than THAT could you? Of course NOT. And if you watched the Documentary of how George Lucas formed the Star Wars saga, you'll understand that people worked really hard on it and put a lot of thought and love into it, and so it happens to be Number 1 on the Top 5 Best Moneymaking Kids Movies of All Time, according to a magazine (TFK (a.k.a Time For Kids)).

I'd classify them as mostly harmless, and all the stuff they buy helps the economy, so God bless 'em. Just don't join them on movie night and you'll be fine.
