Ok.. does anybody know the version of the star wars theme tune im trying to find!

Question: John Williams and the London Orchestra did the Main theme tune to star wars.. they also did a more slower, gentler version of the main theme tune.. does anybody know what this version is called?

it was on the star wars episode of family guy, where chris introduced him and the orchestra and they started to play it..

i think its played in the film when luke sky walker is looking out at the horizon..

Wow, the other answerers are CLUELESS! Why do you people bother?
The music used for Luke staring at the horizon is called "Binary Sunset", it's the second part of track 6 of the Remastered Special Edition Soundtrack.
It's also possible the Fox re-recorded the main theme with a smaller orchestra for that horrible Family Guy episode.

George Lucas wanted starwars to be like peter and the wolf, so everybody would have there own theme tune.

I know theres a slow one called Leahs theme, but as the clip you wanted was of luke, its probably called lukes theme.

I have the music on a tape, unfortunately the tape is at work and i'm not, so can't look.

it could be luke's theme...there were different themes for luke, leiha ( leiha's theme) and darth vader (emperor's march)

No , but have you tried YouTube to see if it's on there ?

actually it was john williams and the boston pops that did star wars... london may have made one too. but boston pops did the original...

most likely "Princess Leia's Theme."

Cut # 14 on this soundtrack:

"Anakin's Theme" is similar to the main theme, but slower and more melancholy. The melody is played mostly on a french horn.
