Were you dissappointed in the final Star Wars film?!

Question: I thought it was such a miserable story - I just didnt enjoy it that much. Hayden Christiansen did not convince me as Anakin.

Answers: I thought it was such a miserable story - I just didnt enjoy it that much. Hayden Christiansen did not convince me as Anakin.

Hayden Christensen is a terrible actor (my opinion) the only thing he has going for him is he is eye candy.

There were many parts where George Lucas did NOT do enough research...I am sorry, I have never seen a pregnant woman who is pregnant with twins and at least 7 to 8 months along...run. That aside...

Anakin upon being severely burnt (3rd degree burns)...I am sorry would not have been able to pull himself along and then lie there for very long, time is of the essence where burns are concerned. I know initially third degree burns dont hurt as much becuase the nerve endings are all gone but, still come on...common sense people.

And then there is the whole "Frankenstein" scene which belonged more in Young Frankenstein than in Star Wars.

Also Lucas took the very strong Character of Amadala...in the first movie she is very strong and a good leader. In the second movie she becomes more wussy but, still a passable leader. The last movie apparently pregnancy makes one completely dependant on the man and the woman can't be strong in the least, or so George thinks. I also have found it very hard to believe that Amadala would fall in love with a kid several years her junior as well.

So, no, no I did not enjoy that last movie in the least. But, more because George Lucas is a terrible writer (the best starwars movies have actually been written by someone else) and his directing which, I believe pulled down performances by really good actors, like Natalie Portman.

They didn't make his transformation believable. One minute he's fighting the emperor and the next he's chopping Mace Windu's hand off, then he's slaughtering young jedis a few minutes later. If he was such a great Jedi, how could he be so easily fooled?

The last three were terrible movies, especially that Phantom Menace p.o.s.

Really I thought it was great, It tied in the other two prequels with the original saga very well. Sure Hayden is a horrible whiny actor but ultimately I think that is what he was supposed to be.

it wasn't really dissapointing but you are right about hayden christansen. BUt the thing that bothered me the most is that padma, after being through all of those wars and assasination attempts, dies from child birth, now that was a little dissapointing.

It was better than episodes 1 and 2, that's for sure. But yeah, Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader was incredibly anticlimactic. And Hayden Christensen's wooden performance didn't help any.

I thought the last three were terrible. The originals were so much better. Hayden Christianson is just not a very good actor at all.

I actually thought it was the best one since The empire Strikes Back. I think the others were pretty bad, unbelievable and a bit silly in spots.

I was disappointed in every single one of them after the first "Star Wars". I loved the first one.

I was disappointed in the first of the new batch, and haven't watched any of the new ones since.

The script was leaden, the acting wooden, and all the fun of the original was missing. Yawn.

I was disappointed in all of them.

But the writing, or the acting--I don't know what was more reprehensible.

My two favorite lines are: "Hold me Anakin. Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo."

The second is when Samuel L. Jackson delivers this line like he's still sitting in the car with John Travolta in Pulp Fiction: "So the prophecy says."...and I'll have a royale with cheese.
A LOT OF CHEESE.
