A couple of questions for Sweeney Todd (SPOILERS!)?!
Question: I just saw Sweeney Todd and have some questions...
Firstly... is Johanna his daughter?
Second, during the ending as soon as the judge is killed, right before he kills that old lady who you barely see her face, and then after killing the judge you hear mrs. lovett screaming and when he goes downstairs he sees Lucy (his wife). Is lucy the smae person as that poor lady or what? It's a bit confusing.
Also, remember the kid who is brought to court and sentenced to death, who is he and is he framed of killing pirelli.?
Lastly, what happens to Johanna and Arthur (i think thts the guys name)... they go to sweeneys house and johanna is waiting for arthur (i think thats the name).. so wat happens??

Yes, Johanna is his daughter.
Yes, the poor lady was actually his wife indeed and she turned crazy because she drank poison and got raped by the judge and so he took in johanna and she lives in the streets.
Yes, he was framed of killing Mr. Pirelli but he's not important. It was just some random kid that showed 5 seconds in the whole movie.
His name is Anthony and he takes johanna and she's wearing her hair up with a hat so people won't recognize her and Anthony tells johanna to wait inside the barber shop for Sweeney but he leaves and Sweeney sees her hiding in the chest after killing Lucy and before she gets to say anything, he was about to cut her throat until Mrs. Lovett screams and it goes on from there.
Sweeney Todd has got to be the best movie I have ever seen! I loved it so much... The suspense, dark, horro, and humor.

i think the kid in court is just a random street kid.

He was a random child, whose purpose is simply to show that the Judge is a dick.

The little kid was a random scene used mainly to show the Judge's cruelty and how heartless he is. The also say the little boy was caught stealing.
And they never show what happens with Johanna and what's his face. There is no answer unless they give an answer in the original broadway show which I haven't had a chance to see yet.
Yes Johanna was taken in my the Judge for all the years. She's now 15 and he wants to marry her. He has her very controlled.
Yes that's Lucy. Mrs. Lovett says that she drank poison knowing he would asume she died but she just became crazy also because she was raped by the Judge and she has been living in fear for 15 years. She stands outside the shop and see's her husband killing people but she doesn't know it's him. Which is when you see her singing the song about the devil. That's why she wanders up there which ends up leading to her death.
Nope, he says that he's charged for stealing. That's to show how cruel the Judge is and to build up your hate for him so you want him dead.
Anthony, they don't show anything else about them. It's meant for you to believe that he gets the carriage and they left to be happy together. Which is to show that Sweeney got what he wanted. To kill the Judge and for his daughter to be free.

2. Lucy took posion which muddled with her mind so she was a bit insane. She was always Lucy and the actress is the same who played Lucy and the old lady because they were the same character
3. The kid brught to court is not the same as Toby (Perelli's assistant) the kid really isn't important at all and he wasn't truly guilty of anything. ("Is he guilty?" -beadle "he must have done something to merit a hanging"-turpin) The little boy is a no one
