Who has watched I am Legend?!
Question: I thought i am legend was such a good film but it had a really sad ending! Why did Will Smith have to die? I thought it was a little bit scary - well jumpy! I bet all the guys didn't think it was scary-- right??

He had to die because that was the only logical ending!
He could have easily gone up the shaft with that girl but he figured since his wife and kid were no longer alive he had no reason to live. The ending also leaves you with a more heroic and "legendary" view of Smith's character.
i thought it was gonna be a non stop action film, ended up being one of the best films i seen....... & i didn't think it was scary

The first two-thirds of the movie was alright, different from the book but I could handle it. When there was other survivors, it just turned stupid. Will Smith's character had to die, technically they ALL should have died.
Read the book, don't watch the movie.
what i dont understand is just before will dies the sun was rising outside, shouldnt those things be avoiding the sun light.
thats the one thing that puts off the ending for me if they ran away to avoid the sun will would have been alive at the end.
And people dont 4get that thing which was cured also died at the end poor thing

In my opinion the less a director shows of the "monster" the scarier it is. They showed too much of those creatures to make it scary.
i thought the film sucked. It's got to be Will Smith's worst film yet! It was borderline watchable. I loved the dog though...
personally i loved the film. will smiths acting was amazing especially when he had to kill his dog. you could feel his pain.
btw "South London's Finest " i thought the sun had only just set at the end cos thats when the night walkers came looking for them. i'm sure they couldnt have fought them off all night :-)
