"Holding Out For a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler from her 1984 album Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire appeared in Footloose. It was also in Short Circuit 2, Who's Harry Crumb, Bandits, Howard the Duck, Shrek 2 and Nacho Libre. On TV it has appeared on Days of Our Lives and Lois & Clark.
