I'm going tomorrow to see it
what i have heard its pretty violent, its actually rated (r) the first Rambo to get a r rating in Australia so the kids wont be allowed to go

Why not go see a more suited movie. Like that new Martin Lawrence movie? Something Funny. Not something violent like Rambo. Its the Same here as it is where you are. children are allowed in the theater as long as they are with a parent. That doesnt mean they should take young children to see violent movies.

lol is grass green is the sky blue.. yeah!! its gunna be blood and gore for 2 hours of course watch the prequels then picture it in high def and u got it

well theyve obviously seen the other rambos if they know who /what it is!!..maybe u should question yourself here if youre wondering if its right or not.

might as well let em see it if theyve seen the others. But....if youve seen one youve seen em all.

No ! Please!
Please do not.
Better not to see even they are over 18yrs.
These film are really violent!

Desensitizing children is horrible!
But if that's the kind of children you want to have go right ahead.... I'm sure the parents of the children they slay as a result of violent ADULT movies will forgive you.
No lecture just the honest truth

um...rambo uses a gun turret as his weapon of choice at a certain moment. he cuts at least 6 men literally in half with it. he rips out a man's throat with his bare hands. women get raped in this movie. innocent villagers get slaughtered a la Apocalypto. this movie would be rated nc-17 if it was simply a violence exploitation film and not at least goodhearted

please don't do this to children

It's very violent and gory. It's more bloody than the first three Rambos combined (and two of them have the word "blood" in it!). If your kids are used to action and violence, maybe. I do think, perhaps, this film should've been rated NC-17 for it's graphic violence. R was putting it mildly.

The fact that it's a Rambo movie should tell you everthing. Having seen it myself, I can say for certin, OH YES IT'S VIOLENT. The begining isn't so bad, but once it gets going, "Let the bodies hit the floor." (title of a song from Drowning Pool). Can't discribe it better than that.

I think some answerers are a little too uptight.I would however avoid letting them see this rambo. It ios a bit too harsh for children.I am a father of five and have "desensitized" my children to alot of different films.I took my 4 year old to jurassic park after all the "experts" said little children shouldn't see it.Yet I have many old horror movies that were worse than that, including king kong(33) where he chews up some villagers.
My children are well adjusted pains in the butt, they watched terminators,predators,Godfathers,Aliens,... well as robin Hoods, captain bloods,Ben Hur and Spartacus.all while they were 10 and under.
Never had any issues with nightmares,or monsters under the bed,or skeletons in the closet.
But i would avoid the new rambo because it has gratuitus nudity, sexuality more than the violence.
