It was probably just coincidence. Reese Witherspoon is in alot of movies. Maybe one likes politics and comedies, and the other guy likes court movies and comedies. Who knows, your probably just overanalyzing.

hahaha i guess guys think she is hot... she is really pretty and she is a good actress i mean shes not nearly the best but i like her movies... don't complain soak it in because sooner or later you'll land with a guy who only likes action movies or mabe doesn't even like movies lol now that would be hell!
Well, election was a really good movie, and I don't think she was portrayed as hot in the film. So, maybe only one of your guys is into her? Because legally blonde is kind of a throw away movie.
They're both comedy's, a lot of girls like Legally Blonde so he was probibly thinking you liked it. And Election is a date movie, good for both male and females.
