Does anyone think that rob zombies halloween was a wee bit of a let down?!
Question: Yes I thought it was...It was not scary, just kinda gory. Also, they thought adding a bunch of naked girls getting killed would make up for what it was lacking, but I think that made it 100% even worse... ?

Yeah. It didnt live up to the First One
This one was more of a slasher, and less of a suspense like the first
I enjoyed it, as it goes!
No not at all. I thought the old Halloween was shocking anyway. The new one had more backround sotory to it. I liked the introduction of the little boy and being able to find out why he was a pyscho. Although I admit the ending was rather shocking :/
No... I think it was a HUGE letdown! I loved The Devil's Rejects, and thought that that kind of gritty hightened realism would elevate Halloween. As it was it was ploding, boring, and lacking in any suspense - I think Rob Z really dropped the ball. Much prefer the original.
I'm still trying to get over the fact that he wrote off Captain Spaulding, Otis & Baby...
No. Actually, I thought it was pretty good. And one of my all time favorite movies is the original Halloween. So that's saying a lot. It wasn't BETTER than the original, it also wasn't worse. It was it's own movie. I liked the whole psychology angle Zombie took. I like that he gave Michael a disfunctional background.
My only complaint is Sheri Moon... I know she's beautiful, extremely beautiful and I know that Rob Zombie will ALWAYS cast her in his movies... but she's a bad actress. I'm getting used to it though. I guess she's got that CAMPY horror movie quality to her though.
Yeah, I suppose that's true, but I found it to be pretty fascinating. Psychology is an interest of mine, and watching how Zombie believed Michael Meyers came to be was engaging. I liked the backstory. The rest of the movie was okay -- the original was better -- but I think the added history of the character was unique.
not realy
For sure I think he would have been better off to make a new part Halloween 7 (or whatever )then to try to go back and try to renew the old.
I liked it....I think he put his own spin on a classic and succeeded at it....
It needed more topless women in it.
