a.) The book was better.
b.) Most people just think "it's so coooool, everyone goes and fights and stuff!!1!" when that's really not what it's about at all.

Durdon was just in his imagination and it was another or his personalitys. I think the movie was meant to show us how lots of us base our lives on consumerism and that money is what drives most people.
I love dark comedies, and "Fight Club" is one of the darkest. The book was pretty good as well, although a different interpretation. I found the production design to be outstanding, and while I'm not a big Brad Pitt fan, I thought this was a great role for him in that it called for him to be a bit over the top, since he's... well, not real.
GREAT GREAT MOVIE!...The meaning is that we're losing our connection with one another in America. It's about the feeling that theres nothing real or meaningful in life and that the only thing that can truly ground a person is human connection.
I liked it alot! Brad Pitt looked hott in that movie!
