I wondered the same thing, and I thought it looked like a stupid movie, maybe that's why i have not seen it.
It was a terrorist attack where some dudes put them in boxes on the plane. You might not also be aware that the snakes have lazer vision and stuff.
Some one place them there so they can attack the people in the plane thats why they put those roses around people necks so because sneaks are attracted to that smell and thats what made the movie so good.
they were in the boxes with the leis & the leis were sprayed with the horomone spray to drive them into mating season & snakes are very irratble in mating season & the leis that were placed on peoples necks was covered in it drawing the snakes toward them
Did you WATCH the movie? Try watching it again, but pay attention. You will also realize why they were so aggressive. (snakes usually are not that aggressive)
