It's going to be a series. The pilot for the new series is 2 hours long which is not unusual for new series these days but i think the rest of the episodes will be shown in regular 1 hour format like everything else.
They were true to the original series. It was bad then and it's bad now.
They are going to see how the 'movie' was feel by viewers and see about turning it into a series. I know, the acting was horrible and the voice of K.I.T was sh*t. The only thing that was kewl about the whole 2hr movie was Michael Knight Sr coming back..we all love the Hoff..

You'd think that for how much money they sank into that program, they could find a better actor for their lead! Holy crap.
The computer is too cold and impersonal- the whole point was that KITT was so human-like, that the characters started to care about him...
