Is the rumour of the remake of 'Short Circuit' true?!
Question: short circuit is an 80's movie about a goverment robot No.5 getting struck by lightning and gets a mind of its own. he decides not to go back to his goverment home and runs away into the real world. Rated excellent by many so could be likely fo remake but I'm not sure...i need proof/answers.

You may be hearing about the new Pixar movie coming out this year, WALL-E. Has some serious 'Short Circuit' ripoff looks, but hoping the guys at Pixar come up with an original story line.
