My boyfriend and I just watched it. I thought the acting was pretty bad in it. To me, I agree with it being over-rated.
My boyfriend called David Hasselhoff being in it. He was like, Oh God, I bet that's Hasselhoff. And he comes up and there it is. That was the moment we both were like, oh man... this is stupid.
i know, it was all over myspace and everything. it was like a 5 out of 10
Over rated, I haven't heard or read any reviews. Some reworking needs to be done before it becomes a series, but the potential is there.
Regarding the acting, watch the original. It was never really strong acting by the "Hoff" and some other characters. Remember the premiere, which I believe was called "Knight of the Phoenix" in which Michael Knight was "born?" He got shot, had plastic surgery and was driving KITT all within a span of minutes.
Again, has possibilities, but a little reworking needs to be done.
My own personal opinion, I thought it was pretty good. Im not sure where your seeing the over acting.....The thing with Hasselhoff had to be in there. This is a continuation of the first series, it would be stupid not to have included him. Besides it was a good way to introduce Michael Knight to his adult son. The only part that i could think of that was a little over acted was the scene where Michael Traucer's mother died. Other than that it was like an update of the original series. At least it wasnt that god awful red car from Knight Rider 2000!
