Harrison Ford - does anyone else find his acting mechanical?!

Question: I do among other things and dont even start me on Mel Gibson

Answers: I do among other things and dont even start me on Mel Gibson

I think Ford was a marvelous natural actor with an easy charisma and is definitely part of the reason for the success of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Fugitive, Witness and the Jack Ryan movies.

But in the past ten years or so, he's definitely been phoning it in. As I probably would if people wanted to pay me $20 million to be in a movie. You kind of have to respect someone with such obvious contempt for the Hollywood game...

Hopefully the old Ford will be back in Indy 4.

hmmm - Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan, Dr. Richard Kimble, William Wallace, Jerry Fletcher (from Conspiracy Theory), Mad Max - these are all terribly wooden characters in movies that didn't make a plug nickel.

Ford: Subdued, maybe -- the direct opposite, for instance, of Nick Cage (I'm a fan of both)

Mel Gibson is the man!

Are you saying Indiana Jones and Han Solo are mechanical? If it makes you feel any better, I think Christopher Walken auditioned for the role of Han Solo, just imagine him in that role.
