They got divorced and the little girl realized that her Dad really loved April because he changed everyone else's names in the story, Sarah became Emily and Natasha became Summer but April was still called April so the little girl urges her Dad to go see the lady and he takes her the book her father had given to her with the inscription but she gets mad and tells him to leave so he's bummed and the little girl makes him go to April's apartment with her, the little girl, along and you don't know if April is going to let them or not so they count to 30 and start to leave but April comes out and they spill out their feelings and kiss and it all ends happily ever after.
