Interesting question because it makes me wonder what you mean by best. If you mean cinematically, it's the Batman series thanks mostly to the new ones coming out. Second would be Spiderman, thirdly I would put Superman ahead of X-men because of how good that movie looks especially prior to CGI.
If you mean in revenue, at the moment it goes Spiderman, Batman, X-Men, Superman but with new Batmans, Supermans and Xmen to come out, we'll see if that changes.

I would say Batman, even though Forever and Batman and Robin were not very good at all. But Burton's original Batman and Batman Returns were both good movies and Batman Begins was great.
I didnt like the 2nd or 3rd Spider-man or X-Men movies very much, and Superman movies (i love the character) just doesnt excite me very much.

X-men. Each one was a bit better. I really liked the first Batman with Michael Keaton. They got progressively worse and I hate how they changed the history of Robin and Batgirl. If Robin wasn't in #2 they should have kept him out of the series. Superman I awesome. They got weaker as time went on. Spiderman I was really impressed with. I'd say he's a close #2 with X-men. Alot of people hated the last Spiderman with all the villains but I like it.
Are you kidding ?? Superman was and still the best movie series I've ever watched .. then comes Spiderman .. then comes the rest of them !!
