I don't think commercial success was high of Warhols fim agenda. Considering he made over 60 movies on various subjects such as Sleep (6 hours of someone sleeping) Empire (8 hours of footage of the Empire State Building) films like Blood For Dracula seems positively commercial.
On the plus side his costs for shooting these must have been fairly low so wouldn't have made a great loss even if no-one paid to see them
wow i thought he just made art....i didnt know he made movies too...
They all pretty much did, but they were artsy films, not commercial releases.
