Your opinion on Netflix?!

Question: How would you review Netflix? Is it worth it?

Answers: How would you review Netflix? Is it worth it?

Netflix can be fine IF you watch a lot of movies. What you may find though is that Netflix gives the best, quickest service and newest releases to their newest customers. You will like this. However, once you become an established customer and a frequent renter, you may find it takes longer to get the movies you want. Netflix has even been accused around the country for delaying shipments to its heaviest users. – See Source for one such article. Netflix has lost many customers because of this practice and its customer base today is substantially less than it was a couple of years ago.

However, try it. You may like it. My wife and I were members for about a year but we didn’t watch enough movies to make it worth our while. Join up and become a member. If you don’t like it, you can cancel at any time without a hassle.

there commercials are dumb but my friends have it and they say it's not worth it go with the blockbuster.

I really like Netflix. They send the movies within a couple of days. They have a good selection and you can buy the previously viewed movies for pretty cheap.

very worth it. theyre very fast about the shipping..my dad will put a movie in the mailbox and receive a new one in a day or 2. they have any movie youd ever imagine, way more than blockbuster..and you dont have to drive to get them. just try it..if you dont like it you can cancel.

I love Netflix I get 3 movies at a time and I think its well worth it if you a big movie watcher like I am.

I like it.

Ive had it for years now and I highly recommend it. They have 100 times more movies than any video store, if the DVD exists, they have it with the exception of maybe a few highly obscure titles. I might have had it for 5 or 6 years now, in that time most companies raise the price of their services like say DirecTV, DSL internet services basically everyone and its so frustrating but not netflix, they have reduced their price twice and their service keeps getting better and faster with the addition of new distribution centers. I know, it sounds like a sales pitch but I recommend their service that much!

The only con is that its not immediate, you have to wait for it to be shipped. I used to think about a movie that I wanted to watch and would immediately go out and rent it but my mind set has changed with netflix, this is definitely the hardest thing to get used to. Once netflix receives the movie you mail back they ship out the next that day so its normally a 2 day turnaround from the day you put yours in the mail.

I like it. It's simply the best, most affordable service out there. For $9 a month we get one movie at a time and whenever we mail it back we usually get the next one within a few days. We can get anywhere from 4-7 or 8 movies in a month depending on how fast we watch them. They've got probably pretty much any movie you want. I've never searched for a title and not found it. You can queue them in advance and once you return the movie netflix will automatically send the next one on your list. Also, you have access to their Instant Viewing movies to stream online. Obviously not all of their movies are available this way but it's a decentl selection and if you feel like watching a movie and nothing is on TV and you haven't received your next movie in the mail this is a really cool feature. You'll need to download the Netflix player, Windows Service Pack 2 and have a computer with a decent amount of RAM for this. Not to mention a decent internet connection.

We have been members on two separate occasions now and as someone else said the movies may perhaps be delayed an extra day or so once you are more established. We noticed this happening after a few months but not with all movies, just sometimes. And it's not like they would take an extra week, just a day or so. Also, movies can get lost in transit, or stolen but Netflix is quick to replace it if this happens.

All in all I really like the service. I'm not sure why people are saying iTunes will put Netflix out of business. iTunes doesn't have the selection (yet) and cost $3-$5 a pop. No instant viewing titles and you have to transfer it from your computer to portable device, TV, whatever. Doesn't seem worth it. Netflix gives customers a free trial period as well. I think it's 2 weeks.

I hope this helps!
