Do you think it's okay for teachers to show kids porno movies?!
Question: My little brother is 13 and his teacher is gonna show his class a movie "about racism" but there's a lot of porn in it. Do you think you would let your kid watch that if you knew that the teacher was gonna show such a movie?
Btw. the teacher isn't gonna be in the class room while the movie is in progress!!

hell no. i dont allow my kids to watch anything over pg 13
what do you mean by the term porn btw? if your saying theres alot of hardcore sex or sexually explicit scenes init then a most definate no no! the teacher would be banned from showing this type of movie, and especially as his pupils r not of age! regardless of its educational purposes of the film.....i would be complaining, who told you it had 'porn' in this movie?
EDIT: when i was in school we watched romeo and juliet and that had some nudity init, full frontal nudity to be exact, this is not considerd porn but and arty educational inspiring film...(but we mostly giggled all the way through it)

Wtf do you mean Porn? If you mean a little nudity, then thats not so bad...but porn? are you sure? For something to be considered porn it must have 1 or more people in it providing sexual stimulation to oneself or another person.

I think it really needs to be clarified on what your definition of porn is, because that wouldn't be allowed in school. Heck, even PG-13 movies require a sign-off from the parents.

No, not until I had seen it and decided whether or not my child should be exposed to so much.
Movies and TV and music is filled with so much violence that it has desensitized humanity -- "hey that guy died in a show 2 weeks ago..." There is no sense of reality and no respect for life and death.
It is sad and painful to watch this happen -- but I absolutely would want to pre-view what was gong to be shown -- and that teacher better #$^& well be in the room when that movie is playing to the classroom.
depends on the situation. i mean if its meant for education than i guess its okay. only if thats what theyre learning but if the teacher is showing the movie just for the hell of it. then of course not. thats very wrong
I kind of have to agree with the person above. How do you define the term "porn?" What's your definition of pornography may not be the same as mine. If it's hard-core, no holds barred, penetration, then definitely no. By the way, I don't think his teacher is that "stupid." Have a little faith with him/her, Letting his/her students watch a porn flick is a career suicide. The teacher is probably have seen the movie himself and may have even consulted his department about the appropriateness of the video.
By the way, have you actually seen the video? If you haven't, you shouldn't make hasty generalizations like that. Labeling the video as a pornographic or even sin. Your parent has the right not to let your kid brother see the film. I was left alone to my own devices when I was a kid, I even watched HBOs and other premium channels and stuff because my folks were never home. But I think I turned out okay. I know how to discern right from wrong.
its ok to watch it but it should be with the teacher/parent guidance.

If You See Them Naked But Dont See The Penetration, its Alright. Softcore porn is alright for education.
