Answers: The Notebook. I just love that movie, I really don't know why I watch it because when it is over I always want to hit my husband!

the holiday how romantic

There are too many to list!

a bronx tale. because its nicely written and a good story!

A FEW GOOD MEN.......... because

YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

National Treasure......it has everything id ever want in a movie

Rogue Why Because it just is

I was going to say The Notebook which is definitely my favorite movie, but for the sake of being original, Moulin Rouge pulls a close second! Both are timeless love stories ;-)

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.....
cause I felt just like they did in high school and I would love to go back and see all the "popular kids" had turned out worse than me!

South Park: Bigger, Longer, And Uncut. It is just an epic both in comedy and in music.

The Princess Bride, watch it, you'll know why.

The one that I'll never forget is Mel Gibson's Braveheart..I love this movie because it's so patriotic.^_^

The Matrix Trilogy-they're more reality, in metaphor, than people think.

The Godfather is the greatest trilogy of all time.

The Little Mermaid- just because. It's a classic, amazing soundtrack, beautiful story.... I love it.

I also love the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, and Anastasia.

Braveheart by Mel Gibson. I like it 'coz it talks about one great love that you're willing to fight for and of course, it talks about courage and patriotism to one's country..

I have 3 favorite movies:

Wizard of Oz, probably the best movie ever

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the 2nd best ever

Buy my favorite will always be the Shawshank Redemption.
Very good acting, scripting, Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors, and the movie was actually adapted from a short novel by Stephen King, my favorite author, of the same name. All about friendship and overcoming obstacles.

Here's a link below.

Blade Runner!

Because,... watch it then you know why.

all movies based on patriotism

it depends on what kind of movie ur talking about.

musical :Across the universe/ sweeney todd (kinda gore movie too)

Comedy:Blades of glory/ Zoolander

Sad movie: Atomement

Romance: 50 first dates (comedy as well)

one of them is hook, ive liked it since the age of two and i just love everything about it for years i had it on just a vhs tape recorded from tv and i finally just got it on dvd probably the coolest gift ever!
i just love the story of peter pan and hook is my favorite depiction of it :]]
'gotta fly, gotta crow, gotta get meggie and jack'

kkrish...(indian movie)

the setting is beautiful..the characters were really good.

the story is a action-drama-comedy.

I really enjoyed watching it over and over again.

To whoever said the Shawshank Redemption you rock! Whoever said the Holiday you rock too! Those are my two favorite movies of all time. I like Shawshank because it is such a great movie. Everytime I watch it I discover something new and I have the same feeling I had when I watched it the first time. The holiday I can watch over and over and never get tired of it. I LOVE that movie. I love to travel so it reminds me of me in that way. I like how the characters end up so happy in the end.

Leon the Professional (by Luc Besson) has been my favorite for over 10 years and is still

why ?

because this Movie takes place in New York (and I love this city) but it was shot the "French way".

You don't feel like watching an American Movie but a French movie in an American World.

The story between a 12 y o girl and a cleaner is just so .... I love it. I love the role of Leon and I love Jean Reno & Natalie Portman.

The soundtrack by Eric Serra sounds so delicious and also the two other songs by Bjork and Sting.

This is a violent movie but also there are some tender/kind moments between the characters... this is a very touching movie with frienship and humanity in it

Gary Oldman plays so good, his character (drugaddict DEA inspector) is so fucked up in his brain

I really love that movie

I have too many I like to choose ONE to be a favourite.
Let me try it this way...

Comedy:
Mel Brooks' To Be or Not to Be or the Wayans' brothers' I'm Gonna Get you Sucka!

Tear Jerker:
The Green Mile or Holiday Heart

Musical:
Rocky Horror Picture Show; Crybaby; Grease; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band; West Side Story or the Hairspray movies (original and remake)

Action/Adventure:
The Final Countdown; National Treasure
Each of the above films are just really good. I laugh at the same lines and cry at the same parts that are intended to make you laugh and cry. I love the music in each of the musicals named! I have just always loved time travel sci-fi, so the Final Countdown really rocks!

Kids' movies:
The Quest for Camelot - I love this one because it has a Steve Perry video at the end and I am wild about Steve Perry. (from Journey. Without him, Journey is really nothing more than a day trip!)

Too many favorites to choose from. I agree with other answers about Shawshank Redemption. That was an incredible movie. My best movie I saw within the last year is The Illusionist. It had an incredible story, with a spectacular ending. The movie had good cinema photography and incredible acting. Ed Norton was just amazing in it. If you haven't seen it, go rent it right away. You'll enjoy it, I promise you.
