I think it might have been "The Pick-up Artist" with Robert Downey Jr.
I'm a molly ringwald fan but i dont recall that in any of her movies. unless its pretty in pink. maybe ducky says that to her? sorry i really couldnt help.

theres a chance that either the boy in sixteen candles said it, (the one she adores) or it was duckie in pretty in pink.
