Is Netflix all it appears?? Would you recommend it?? Why?!

Question: Is it really only $4.99/mo or are there hidden fees they don't tell you about? How long does it take to receive a new movie once you send the other one off?? Overall, would you recommend Netflix or not and why??

Netflix is all it appears to be. There are different plans depending on how many movies you like to watch. There is also tax added to the fee, so it wouldn't be exactly $4.99 but would depend on the sales tax in your area. I LOVE Netflix- and I watch A LOT of movies. It's great for seeing movies you wouldn't normally go out and rent, but always wanted to see. You can also get TV show DVDs, exercise DVDs and other special interest DVDs. Depending on where you live, you should receive the movies in 1-3 days excluding weekends. I live in the town they get mailed to, so if I mail it on Tuesday, I get a new one on Thursday or Friday. It is really convenient and you can add movies that are not even on DVD yet, so that when they come out, they're automatically added to your queue. I get 3 at a time unlimited for the month and it's 17.99 plus tax.

I would definitely recommend it if you like to watch movies.

they ripped me off i got the free trial and decided i didn't want to do it anymore before even getting a movie but they still charged me 10 bucks

For the 4.99 deal you only get to excahnge movies like 4 times a month. Best bet would be to go for the 3 out at at a time. They have an ENORMOUS selection, anything you can think of. I think it's definitely worth it.

The $4.99 plan is their smallest plan which gives you one dvd at a time and you can only get two a month. I get the 3 at a time unlimited plan and have been for a year now and I am very happy with it. It's $16.99 a month and I usually end up getting 3 a week. I think they offer a free trail. Give it a try and see what you think

I do the two at a time unlimited rentals for 14.00 a month, its awesome. You ship the dvd out on monday and you get the new movie on wednesday. Faster then blockbuster and more movies.

I would recommend it. I've used them for quite a while and I currently have the 3 at a time plan for $17. There are no extra fees. It takes 1 to 2 days for the movies to arrive. There are also some movies that you can watch online. I had one movie get lost in the mail and they never hassled me about it. You just report it lost and they send a replacement. I suppose if you have a lot of lost movies they might think you are stealing and cancel your account or something.

I also tried Blockbuster for about 2 months, but it took longer for their movies to arrive. Plus, I didn't like the layout of their website as much.

WE have the Netflix plan where we can have only one movie at a time, but an unlimited amount in a month. We've never had any hidden feesThe cost is $9.44/month and we typically get one about three or four days after we return one. . All depending on the mail. We live in a fairly rural area too. I know folks who get new movies within two days. They are good about sending out replacement movies if you get one that is cracked or doesn't work. We've been pleased with them. Other folks we know use Blockbusters similar service because they can also go to the blockbuster store. We have three year old twins, so going to a movie store is REALLY difficult if not impossible. Netflix works GREAT for us.

I love netflix. I've been using them for at least a couple of years. One of the perks is that you can watch movies online. You can also watch tv programs that have come out on DVD. I just finished watching Dexter season 1.
They have a large selection of movies that you can rent. Old classics and today's current movies. If I mail a movie on Monday, I will usually have the replacement on Wednesday or Thursday for sure. I would definitly recommend Netflix.

I've done both Blockbuster and Netflix. They are both good. You get charged the amount that you sign up for plus a small (maybe a dollar or so) tax once a month at the same time each month. They both send out movies equally fast, so never had any problem there. Sometimes you get scratched DVD's, but that happens when you're renting from the store.

The only real difference is that with Blockbuster, you can trade in your movies at the store so you can replace them instantly whereas Netflix doesn't have that option. But with Netflix, you can watch movies instantly online, which you can't do with Blockbuster.

The only reason I changed to Netflix was b/c I moved half an hour away from the nearest Blockbuster and I have like $25 in late fees that I don't want to pay. So there you have that. Either one is pretty much equally worth it.
