Probably the only good movie but the best thing about watching Farrah Fawcett is watching Farrah Fawcett.
She was really hot; what happened to all of the beautiful women, there are not any really hot actresses out there.
Actually, I think her most remarkable performance is in "Extremities". She really did prove her worth as an actress in a number of films, including this one that was passed up by other actresses. Of the two you list, I would pick "Small Sacrifices", perhaps because a lot of actresses could have done "The Burning Bed", but she brought a lot to the other, making it her own.
For a lady who gets made fun of a lot, she's done remarkable work, including "The Apostle"~Robert Duvall chose her for the role, or so I've heard; "Between Two Women", in which she as the daughter-in-law has to match Colleen Dewhurst as her formidable mother-in-law~and she did it!; and two of her historical portrayals~"Margaret Bourke-White" and "Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story". If you considered only the ones we have listed, that would be an admirable filmography.

Farrah Fawcett is a fine actress...she has been in some excellent movies...but I think her portrayal of Francine Hughes was realistic and honest...it was a hard hitting movie...one of her best.
Extremities was also a good movie...but the Burning Bed was something that hit home for a lot of women. Domestic abuse is far more common than people will admit...and the movie opened our eyes to that.
