I've lost count of how many times I've watched this one. When I saw it originally, about a year after its release, I didn't like it all that much. Then, it started showing up on movie channels a lot and was available through On Demand (free), and I started watching it~again and again and again, sometimes two or three times in an evening. It sort of grew on me, as they say. I'm very much a Peter O'Toole fan, so that helped. Warning to those who watch: The film has two "earworms" ~ Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces" and, over the end, the haunting "Fall" by Attention Earth.
