I reckon the daleks would win only if the Doctor was riding a tandem bike gaily throwing bi- sexual leprechaun terminators (the original BLT) into custard filled washing machines while singing 'love me tender' .
But the r2d2s' would win if Darth Vader was playing hopscotch during a delicate sound of thunder-storm with a one armed pirate named colin who owns a fish and chip shop in Surrey and a pet mongoose named Myfwanwey

R2-D2 was designed to be a wimp. Dalek was designed to be a killer. The R2-D2 gang would be gone and their hollow carcasses converted into trash cans within minutes of when the fight with the Daleks breaks out.

PS. R2-D2 is only one astroid droid. So the question should be Army of Daleks vs. Army of Astroid Droids
Though designed with apparent higher tech, R2D2 is a bit of a pansy when compared to a Dalek. Best I can remember, the Dalek sounded cooler also. Though more useful as a nifty holographic DVD player, I think the R2's would succumb to the Dalek's might. As a matter of fact, odds are the R2 would retreat leaving the D's unscathed.
