Are you talking about "Ben Hur" with Charelton Heston? The story was written in the 19th century.
You must be referring to "Soylent Green", starring Charlton Heston! "Make Room! Make Room!" is the title of the Harry Harrison novel on which the film is based. I knew all of that without looking it up! I can't remember the exact year of release, but I know it's the early Seventies.
But, you said that it's based on a story title, when it's actually based on Harrison's novel. I'm a bit confused. I thought you were asking about this, but I'm not certain now.
Interestingly, Heston co-starred with Edward G. Robinson in "Soylent Green" AND "The Ten Commandments"! But, Heston didn't play many biblical roles. Besides that one, he did "Ben-Hur". Are there anymore I'm forgetting? Otherwise, Heston played historical figures but only a couple of biblical-era films. Of course, he did play God in Paul Hogan's "Almost an Angel".
