What movie do you fall asleep watching no matter how many times you try to watch!

Question: I would love to know how the Ninth Gate ends. LOL But I can never stay awake past the first half.

Honestly, the Lord of the Rings movies bore the crap out of me. I'm aware I'm in the minority on this one, but I've never been able to get behind the books or the movies. Too long winded and you go through a whole book, or movie, and nothing actually happens. It's like, walk, walk, walk, battle, walk some more, credits.

Even those I don't fall asleep through, though. I've tried to enjoy Pulp Fiction, too. Watched it over and over again. I hate it more every time. It's weird, too, b/c I generally like most Tarantino films. I love Bruce Willis. Just can't seem to get into that movie, though.

any war movie, particularly saving pvt. ryan...
and black hawk down...

Hmmm...probably Disney movies, when I was like 6 or seven, I could watch them all night without falling asleep, now when my little cousins come over, they always want to watch Disney. Sp pretty much when they come over, that's like my nap time...but yea, I can't stay awake through Disney movies, especially the old ones. The new ones I can sit through a little longer.

Das Boot. I have seen it once all the way through and I love it. Though the last half is very, very exciting, the first half is emphasizing the boredom on board a subway. I haven't been able to make it past the first half again.

(On Ninth Gate, it ends really weird. I'm not sure if it's a good ending or a bad ending.)

This may be an obscure movie, but there is a silent version of "The Deer Slayer" made in 1920 Germany. It stars Bela Lugosi as Natty Bumpo (!). Thing'll put you to sleep in no time.
