Did anyone else notice the flight # from Lost is 815 = 23 Jim Carrey 's movi!
Question: umm wow
Answers: umm wow
Utterly pointless
THAT IS AWESOME! you are my new hero!
What?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with it. Lost was around a couple of years before that awful movie.
You're taking quite a bit of unfounded liberty there.
Why have it "8" + "15"? Then someone could just as easily argue it should be "81" + "5", which is 86, or "8" + "1" + "5" which is 14.
And why add? Why not 81-5 = 76? Or 8-15 = -7? Or 8*15 = 120? or 81*5 = 405? Or 81/5 = 16.2? Or 8/15 = 0.53?
Or it's just the most obvious case, eight hundred fifteen.
So using just the 4 main operators, we get 10 options, only one of which is 23. 90% against, a paltry 10% for.
Moral of the story? If you go around looking for it, you can make it fit if you carry a big enough hammer with you.
The whole point in the movie 23 was that you can make anything equal 23 if you're really looking for it. It's like this game I used to play to help me sleep when I was a kid where I would make the numbers on the clock equal 1 then 2 then 3, 4, 5, etc, etc. It's all about playing around w/ numbers in your head. It doesn't really mean anything. Even in Lost where practically anything could be a sign of anything, that would still be a stretch.
