Question: I think action films nowadays suck, there are few good ones like matrix, but stuff like Spiderman and the Transformers are just dumb (racist jokes, marketing, monotonous action, dumb comedy), unlike 80's classics like Predator, Terminator, Commando, Top Gun, Rambo, Red Heat and all.
we got no action heroes anymore!!
I think the Rock is the ONLY guy capable of being one like Sylvester Stallone but directors don't take him seriously enough and just use his WWE fame just to make money, if they would give him a VERY good role like another guy going up against the Predator in a Predator 3 film (provided it's directed by James Cameron or the guy that did Predator 1), he could be the next action here?

I agree with you, well written.
But.... I don't think, it comes down to a certain actor, certain movie character, or certain type of movie. The movie industry is just making poor entertainment, poor decisions, and harping on the same old movie stories.
Rock would be a great action character, with a completely new story idea, there are many fascinating comic book characters, stories and even video games, many great idea's that can be used to entertain movie viewers.
Top gun, Rambo etc..... were all popular and awesome movies, but those stories are all used up. Movie viewers would be happy, for a new action story, a new character, doesn't matter who stars in the movie, as long as it was entertaining, and they get thier money's worth.
Problem with the movie industry is, they take a movie and drag it on, and on and on, like the energizer battery, Lol,.
Rock would make a great new Powerman character. Then introduce Iron fist, etc....

I agree with that! The Rock will be great in an action movie not in a low budget comedy movie like "The Game Plan."
The Rock is corny now, had he taken this route before gridiron gang or.... the movie he did before that even...

Predator's been screwed over by AvP and AvPR...so a third one wouldn't be taken seriously anyways...
