It is one of my favorite movies. I think maybe you are under 30? I think those of us who grew up on Bruce Lee and Kung Fu Theater appreciate this homage piece by QT. Much like Jackie Brown being an homage to some of the old blacksploitation movies and Grindhouse is an homage to B-grade cinema.
Plus, how can you not appreciate the acting and cinematics? They're really high quality-IMO
I thought the movies were really cool. Terentino is a fan of all genres of movies and it shows in the way he makes his. He does have an unusual way of telling his stories and I like that. He's not conventional and doesn't have the typical "Hollywood" endings isn't afraid of taking chances with his craft. Of course, by doing things your own way you do run the risk of making something that not everyone understands or not ready to take in. What I really love about his movies are his dialogue. I really like movies where dialogue is more random conversation than something to move the plot forward. Anyway, bottom line, I like Kill Bill.
