You must have seen a very different film from the one I watched, which was quite poor. Nicolas Cage is far too old to have attempted the role of Johnny Blaze, and he walked through it like the zombie he has been in a number of his recent films.

Sam Elliott was the ONLY good thing about the movie!

The special effects were OK, but, if he causes that much destruction, he's going to make a better supervillain since no one would want him around as any sort of hero or even an anti-hero. Did you see what he did to streets and buildings!? It was like the Ghostbusters ridding the hotel of the ghost but leaving the place in a shambles. If "Ghost Rider" had been a comedy, which it very nearly is, I might review it differently. If they wanted it to be taken seriously. they would have recast Johnny and Roxanne and gotten rid of the goth girl with the laughable delivery when they didn't really need a laugh. It was as if they're embarrassed of the subject matter.

Nicolas Cage supposedly is a comic book fan. So, why did he do this to "Ghost Rider"?!

This is not a good film to me. I love comic books, and I've collected "Ghost Rider" for many years, through various artists. There are so many other actors who could have played that role far better. It isn't the disaster "The Wicker Man" is, but I'm not sure that I'd want to watch more than a couple of times. I keep thinking what it could have been.

i dont understand how anyone could enjoy this movie, it was stunted and dull. i had to watch it twice to understand it. i am not a geek who has ever been into comiks etc so i don ge tthe whole consept. sorry people but i hated the film.

The most famous version of the song, "Ghost Riders in the sky" was recorded by Vaughn Monroe on March the 14th 1949, it was later covered by many great country artists including the legendary Johnny Cash.
