What is the best film you have watched this year and why?!

yu probly guessed by now that i looove scary movies... um omg this has to be the scariest movie of the year or ever! lOl... josh hartnett did sooo good in it! the vampires were soooo scary in it.. soo bloooody but cool as heckk!
I also have to love WALK HARD...

Well so far this year, considering it is february, and I'e only seen one film, I'd say National Treausre II Book of Secrets. That movie is so freekin awsome!!!!! I LOVE IT!! Woo
The best film I have seen so far was the new Spanish movie The Orphanage. It was in subtitles and it actually directed by the same person who did Pan's Labyrinth. The Orphanage had great everything! It was creepy without being too Corny and over the top, and also was more than just a scary movie, it actually had More about a bond between a mother and her son. The story line on a whole was depressing but surprisingly it had an uplifting ending which didn't ruin the movie! If you can deal with reading the subtitles...this movie is well worth it.
Well, in 2008, Juno. The script is brilliantly written and so witty, the soundtrack has an amazing mix of indie and folk music, and the actors did a fantastic job.
But since the year has barely started, in 2007 my favorite film was Hairspray. Nikki Blonsky (Who played the main character - Tracey.) is a powerhouse who, IMO, is the next Queen Latifah. I loved their renditions of the songs and their twist on the script.
There's only been a month of this year, but I'd have to say, "There Will Be Blood".
Something about it just made absolutely no sense, but at the same time, intrigued the hell out of me. It's twisted. Yet, it's the only oscar nominated movie, besides Juno, that's worth seeing.
I am legend, because I suffered insomnia until I saw this :)
There are alot of good movies that I have seen this year but two of my faves would have to be Rent and HPOOTP
National Treasure 2, it was action packed, no nudity, no cursing, yet an excellent movie.
# 2 was Cloverfield, it was very intense and draws you into the movie. You have to look around every now and then to remind yourself you're not running around with the.
Juno would have to be the best. It is really a good movie, and pretty funny as well ?
sweeney todd. it is just absolutely awesome and really different plus johnny depp is a hottie :)
