What do you think is the best and worst movie of all time?!
Question: The best movie ever, in my opinion, was Casablanca. So many classic lines, and even though I can repeat them as I watch the movie, every time that it is on, I have to watch it. Every actor was spot on for the character. The emotions were played perfectly. I just love that film to pieces.
The worst movie that I ever saw, aside from some low-budget nonsense that played on Mystery Science Theatre 3000, was Oh, Heavenly Dog. It was an alleged comedy in which Chevy Chase is killed and in the afterlife, he finds that he's marginal. To get into heaven, he has to bring his murderer to justice, somehow. But, the body that they give him is--get this--that of a dog. Hillarious. I thought that, since the dog was played by Benji, the man responsible for Benji's films, Joe Camp, would make sure that his star was treated right. I was mistaken in that belief. Years later, my mother was watching the film on television. During a commercial break, I asked her how she liked it. She gave a lukewarm response. I then told her that I had once paid money to see that film in a theatre. She laughed harder at that than she laughed at anything within the film itself. That says a lot about the quality of that film.
