I need help thinking of the title of a movie (early 90s??) that is driving me nu!
Question: The plot goes something like this:
A girl asks her boyfriend to go on a vacation with her family, but he can't because he failed his college exams. She leaves with her family and after cramming and passing a make-up test he spends the rest of the movie trying to catch up with her. Every time he gets close, he just misses them. At the same time, the girlfriend and her family are on this yacht that is run by a group of people who are posing to be crew, but are actually theives trying to rob them. The boyfriend somehow catches up and finds out about the trouble the family is in and saves the family from danger. There is an explosion of some kind around this time. The movie ends with the couple sailing off alone for a private vacation at last.
This movie would be considered one of those "cheesy" movies--- I love those!!
Any ideas?? Title or actors? The word "paradise" may be in the title (maybe not).
