Should I watch Gangs Of New York?!

Question: It's on TV in a bit and really I just wanna drool at leonardo dicaprio but it's an 18 and I'm a bit crap with scary/gory films

how bad is it?

is it worth watching?

(I am 18 by the way, not like an 8 year old that will be traumatized)

It was ok, there was blood and guts, and some fighting. I do not think it was acted real well, but it was entertaining! Also if you love leonardo I think there are some ( OTHER) scenes in the movie as well!!! If you know what I mean!

I saw it a long time ago. I liked it and don't remember it being too bad..go ahead and watch it

its a great film. its not scary, or gory.IMO.

It is very violent and I didnt like it anyway but watch it for yourself and maybe youll think different

Its a good film, I think, he's good in it, and it isn't that gory.

Interestingly, Daniel Day Lewis hadn't made a film, or wanted to apparently, for years, until this project came along.

I guess the movie had ended.

I don't recommend this movie at all, I didn't like it one bit, I turned it off after a few minutes.
Martin Scorsese is one of my favorite directors of all time, but I think Gangs Of New York is his weakest.

You should try The Aviator (2004) instead, it's better and it also has Leo in it. I'm sure you'll love it if you love Howard Hughes' movies. Marty directed this one too.

The Departed (2006) is also very good, with Leo DiCaprio too. 'Departed' has an impressive cast: Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen and directed by Martin Scorsese again.
