Juno=not that good of a movie?!
Question: i was expecting it to be funnier
it was pretty pointless, i mean yea it was cute that they fell in love but the music was bad and pretty boring

It is one of those classic pointless movies that really are not that good but you cant help but watch, think Superbad, Knocked Up, Napolean Dynamite, and so forth. Since Dumb and Dumber movies like this have been made. Some are funnier then others but none really have a point to them. They make you laugh, you have to admit Juno had a few good one liners and they are all movies that you can just chill in, no hard thinking involved
Juno was actually a great movie if you enjoy script. It was a very talky movie with good dialogue. There are several memorable lines in the movie. Also, I think that it is a movie that rings true to life for some people, just as Little Miss Sunshine did.
It's not really about facts... It's all relative. I thought it was great. It wasn't in-your-face funny, it was more subtle, and I like that. I realy enjoyed it. :D
I personally didn't like it because of the fact that Hollywood is cashing in on the independent film-esque type movie. ESPECIALLY when production houses such as Searchlight are rolling these films out slowly at film festivals hoping that people will bite. Then it isn't so much independent anymore as it is mainstream, which it then takes away from what the whole independent film industry is all about. Kind of leaves people with a bubblegum taste in their mouth about what it's about. It leaves true indie, low-budget greats out their totally and completely unrecognized for their worth.
well, personatly i thought it was an awesome movie. i think its the type of movie you either love or hate theres not really an inbetween, and also you kind of have to be into that type of movie. just remember this started out as an indie movie. you have to have a bit of a dry sense of humor. i thought the jokes were awesome, the story was great, ellen page is freakin brillant in it. shes so funny.
i remember when little miss sunshine was like supose to be the greatest movie on earth. i absolutly hated that movie, its just one of those things, a movie can't hit a bullseye with every type of audience.
I don't think it was pointless, because a lot of young girls get pregnant at that age and don't really know what to do. Juno is a unique, (in my opinion funny) and relatable girl that handled her deal in the proper way. Besides, the movie was different, unique, and people all need something different.
The music was not bad. Well, I guess it depends on the listener. If you like the music, good, but if you don't, how does the music affect the movie?
Juno wasn't really supposed to be funny though. It was supposed to be heartwarming.
I thought it was a great movie, but I couldn't stand the soundtrack.
