How long are movies shown for in UK cinemas, particularly AVP-R?!

Question: I'm currently in a cast from having a broken leg and it would be too hard for me to travel to my local Cinema, which is quite far away and would therefore be too difficult for me to travel to. In UK cinema's, the movie 'Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem' came out 2 weeks ago and I was hoping someone knew roughly when they stop showing movies in UK cinemas, particularly Cineworld. A friend told me they keep them in for 10 weeks but I'm not sure she's right. Any help would be great, as I'd like to see the film in cinemas but won't be out of my cast for a fair few weeks.

Usually a popular film stays in for up 9 weeks avp-r isnt so popular that would be in for another two weeks or so

Try the cinemas website. That will probably be your best bet because it really depends on how popular the film is and how long they are allowed to show it for. I think 10 weeks is a bit much for some of them. All cinemas are different though.
