have have top movies, but i'll just pick one.
blackhawk down. i already respect our soldiers and this gives you a little insight into what war in our era is like. i remember where i was (a freshman in college at fsu, the night after a football game) and how i felt watching the news and seeing the chopper pilot drug through the streets of mogadishu.
takes place sept 1993
hoot, he was the epitome of a bad *** special forces guy. put everything into perspective, knew his job, did it w/o being cocky, just as a matter of fact
the worst scene for me was when the one soldier had the femural artery cut, it was pretty rough. i found myself tearing up, it was a touching scene.
one of my favorite scenes is the end of the movie when they are finally getting to safety and the people they were there to protect was cheering them on.

1. RAMBO in theatres now
2. Takes place today happening in burma as we speak for the last 60 years. Terrible situation over there and RAMBO brings it to life for all of us to know.
3. Without giving away the movie visual effects can be seen everywhere on this film its non stop action. And when you least expect something to happen it does. Keeps you on your edge of your seat. Lots of blood and guts but war films are never a walk in the park.
4. Was seeing Rambo go in to help all these poor people suffering and the way he brought attention to this terrible situation the people of Burma are living and brings it to the screen for everyone to see.
The Devil and Daniel Webster with the sublime French actress Simone Simon because it was an excellent vehicle for both storyline and for the actors themselves to display their talents , It occurs some time before the civil war by perhaps several decades and the film is based upon the story by Stephen Vincent Benet .
The characters are wide spread , you have Scratch the devil , his friend "from over the mountain" and a jury of the damned : Captain kidd, Simon Girty,governor Dale,Asa the black monk and other rogues .
With respect to the special-effects available in 1941 I would say that the special effects lies within the film's ability to evoke an overwhelming sense of dread , there are special effects from a cinematic point of view .
The best part of the film and in my perspective is the introduction of Belle Dee . . . unforgettable .
