So if someone says to you "i'm watchin' Rambo" you have to ask "oh really, you mean First Blood, Rambo III, the new Rambo??" it's so ridiculous, just say I,II,III, and IV
Also, if you mention First Blood to someone today nobody has a clue you're talking about Rambo.

Because when they made the first one it wasn't suppose to be 4 movies. Part II just follows First Blood and adds the Part II and his name in the front. By the late 80's it was more common for movies to just be the name with a number, hence Rambo III. As for this one, I heard it was initially John Rambo following the pattern of Rocky which was Rocky Balboa, why they changed it to just Rambo, I have no clue.
