Has Anyone Seen Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit?!
Question: Sister Act is one of my favorite movies and I have never seen the sequel. Recently it just popped into my head and now I am interested in finally seeing it. How does it compare to the first one? Is it just as funny... worse?

i like it. i personally like it better than the first one. i like the songs better. plus a lot of talent cam e from that movie. lauryn hill(the fugees),ryan toby(city high),and jennifer love hewitt(patry of five,the ghost whisperer),tanya blount( don't know any of her songs but she sang the eye is on the sparrow w/lauryn in the movie.) anyway i liked it. i don't think it's a waste of time. of course no one will say it's better than the original,but i do.
It's by no means as good as the original (IMO, my hubby liked it better than the first) but it's still worth a watch.
Its funny and just as good or better than the first. Lauren Hill is in it!
yeah i think its better than the 1st. it has a young lauryn hill in it.
I really like the first one a lot better but ma girl Lauren Hill is in it so she helps it out.

I really enjoyed it. I thought it was much better than the first. Some of the singing really gave me chills it was that good.Especially at the end.

its funnier...really kool...its more interseting...and a lot lot more music (not a musical or anything like that) but it rocks...i love the ending (thats the best)
I really loved the first film too.
I'd say the sequel is better than most second films and definitely worth watching, but not as good as the original.

The sisters come back to Delores's show to get her back as Sister Mary Clarence to teach music to a group of students in their parochial school which is doomed for closure. One of the girls, who is the most talented of the bunch, is forbidden to sing by her mother, although the choir has made it to the state championship. A group of stereotypical incompetent monks tries to stop them.
Deloris Van Cartier is again asked to don the nun's habit to help a run-down Catholic school, presided over by Mother Superior . And if trying to reach out to a class full of uninterested students wasn't bad enough, the sisters discover that the school is due to be closed by the unscrupulous local authority chief Mr. Crisp unless they can change it
It's good but I wouldn't compare it to the original since they are completely different.
