In the movie The Shining what's the significance of the rabbit at the end?!
Question: I'm assuming you are talking about the original movie. The original movie varied quite a bit from the novel. The movie seemed to not really capture the history and just how haunted the Overlook Hotel really was. In the novel Jack attended a masquerade ball in the ballroom made up entirely of Overlook ghosts. One of these ghosts was dressed up in a dog suit. When Danny was trying to leave the suite the dog-man was guarding the hallway and wouldn't let him pass. Do yourself a HUGE favor and read the novel! It is one of the most entertaining and scary books I have ever read! Although the movie is entertaining, once you read the book you will see just how evil the Overlook Hotel was!! By the way, Stephen King re-made the movie into a three-part mini-series back in the mid to late 90's that does a tremendous job of staying true to the novel. It is available on DVD.
