We all know that Jim Carey is the God in comedies! But what about dramas? Liked !

Question: Don`t be shy and mention ur favorite comedy from Jim!*

Answers: Don`t be shy and mention ur favorite comedy from Jim!*

Jim Carey rocks all the way around

While I thought it was a crappy movie, he did very well in "The Number 23".

And his best comedy is "Liar Liar". :)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...it's my favorite movie of all time and he does a pretty spot on job of a dramatic character.

I liked Fun with Dick and Jane !

Doing Time On Maple Drive was a really good Jim Carrey drama. It was a made for tv movie that came out around the late 90's.

Bruce Almighty

I actually hated 23 but that wasn't because of him.

I really liked him in The Truman Show. It was his first drama and it was a nice turn-of-events for him.
Fave comedy HAS to be Ace Ventura!!LOL

Eternal Sunshine is a really brilliant movie. I also thought he did a good job in the Truman Show.

"We all know that Jim Carey is the God in comedies!"

On the contrary, I've only ever liked him in dramas. Can't stand all that farting around making faces.

But give him a top director and get him to deliver an understated performance - so Michel Gondry's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - and he proves himself a marvellous actor.

I find this is quite a pattern with larger-than-life comedy actors. Was never totally sold on the antics of Robin Williams, for example, but in Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society, I loved him.

Eternal Sunshine is probably my fave movie of all time.
He was just brilliant in that.
He was good in Man on the Moon, The Truman Show.
I feel like he had alot of potential as a serious actor, but The Number 23 killed that notion.
However, as a comedian, he is INSANELY talented.
I love Me, Myself & Irene, Dumb & Dumber, The Ace movies, Bruce Almighty and CABLE GUY was off the hook. He was so freakin' crazy & creepy in it. Reminded me of that diabolical villain, with a comic twist that he showed in Batman Forever.
He's great in The Grinch too.

The Number 23 was creepy, I liked it. I actually like it when he's serious. My favorite comedy of his was Bruce Almighty.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and the Truman Show both awesome movies with better performance of his...

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was amazing. One of my favorite movies ever.

The Number 23 was a little iffy, but i liked it despite that and I thought he did well.

I can't say as I'm a big fan of his comedies. I guess I've never really thought pulling faces was that impressive or entertaining. Bruce Almighty was pretty good, but I think it would have been better had he not played it so over the top.
